A meaningful win for our neighborhood, and a request for your help

Dear Friends,

We have exciting news to share — we won our injunction!

Attached is the August 13, 2025 Court Order granting our injunction against the City of Philadelphia and all of its departments. This is a major victory for FOPS — and for every neighbor who has supported this fight.

With this win, our legal and lobbying strategies gain significant leverage. We will be sharing more details soon, but for now, know that this outcome strengthens our position and validates our cause. Please read Stu Bykofsky's great newsletter piece. That said, the battle is far from over. Litigation brings twists and turns, and we must be ready for the next steps. Your support is more important now than ever. 

We ask you to use this moment as inspiration to contribute to our legal fund today.

Many of you have generously answered our call for contributions and some have donated multiple times. We thank everyone for every donation of any amount. Recently, we’ve received a number of 4 figure contributions in the $2500-$5000 range, which have made a real difference. If you have the means and can match or exceed that level, we urge you to do so but, every gift — large or small — fuels our ability to keep fighting and to keep winning. Those in attendance saw firsthand the legal talent that helped bring us this victory. We also thank our General Counsel, Paul Boni, for his wisdom and leadership through this process.
