🚫 Don’t Let Our Streets Be Taken From Us

The City plans to install permanent concrete barriers along Pine and Spruce Streets—eliminating critical parking and curb access that our community depends on every day.
These changes will harm residents, seniors, caregivers, service workers, and families. The plan was developed without meaningful input from those who live here—and the City’s own safety data do not back it.
We believe in street safety for everyone—not just one group. And we believe in community-driven solutions, not one-size-fits-all barriers that divide us.
We’re on the Brink of Losing Access to Our Streets—Let’s Not Stay Silent
The proposed installation of concrete barriers on Pine and Spruce will eliminate vital parking spaces and severely disrupt the daily lives of residents, seniors, caregivers, and local businesses. This change threatens accessibility, burdens those who rely on curbside access, and ignores the voices of the very community it will impact most.
We cannot allow this to happen without a fight.
Join us in standing up against this misguided plan. Your voice matters—together, we can stop the barriers and preserve the character and accessibility of our neighborhood.
Support the Friends of Pine and Spruce.
Your generous contribution will fuel our advocacy, help us engage legal and traffic experts, and amplify the voices of our community to ensure thoughtful, inclusive planning.
Let’s protect our streets—for all who live, work, and rely on them.
We kindly ask for your generous support to assist the Friends of Pine and Spruce in their ongoing struggle. Your contributions will help empower their mission and bring about a brighter future for our beloved community.
