The City has already installed loading zone signs and is moving forward with its ill-conceived “No Stopping Anytime” plan. Phase One has stripped Pine and Spruce of vital curbside parking spaces that our residents rely on every day. Phase Two is next: permanent concrete barriers that will divide our streets and further restrict access. These changes don’t just inconvenience us; they endanger our most vulnerable neighbors. Elderly residents and those with disabilities are being further disabled by the loss of safe and reasonable drop-off and pick-up access in front of their homes. Friends of Pine & Spruce (FOPS) has filed a legal complaint to stop this dangerous overreach—but we can’t do it alone. Your neighborhood, your freedom to care for loved ones, and the dignity of every resident depend on this fight. Please contribute today to help us fund the legal challenge and preserve the livability and accessibility of our streets.
